What inspired you to ride – 2012 Olympics watching Anna Meares and Victoria Pendleton and realising that I had legs like them and that I should probably give that sport a go.
What racing obstacle have you overcome – Coming at this a little later in life means I missed out on learning the ropes without the competition. I’ve had to learn really fast.
What motivates you to keep going – The challenge. Mentally and physically I am learning and pushing myself every week. It’s addictive. Theres still so much to learn.
Favourite cheat meal – I go through food phases. Current phase is scones with cream and jam…
Favourite healthy snack – Oven baked salmon with potatoes, herbs and broccoli.
When you’re not cycling, what do you do for enjoyment – I scuba dive and rock climb.
Tip for young cyclists – Ask lots of questions. It’s important to know why you’re doing something in your training programme.
