“There is no such thing as luck, only tenacity of purpose“.
Biggest win to date – Probably the 2017 QLD State Crit Championship (although winning the 2018 Sutho Crit Series was big given the strength of the field).
What inspired you to ride – I really just wanted to keep fit and have always loved bikes of any kind.
What racing obstacle have you overcome – Breakaways. I used to just pray they wouldn’t happen but these days I love ’em (…provided I’m in them!).
What motivates you to keep going – I want to make my family and team proud.
Favourite cheat meal – Burgers. Will talk burgers anywhere anytime with anyone. Hit me up
Favourite healthy snack – Ideally a super burger, like a superfood but in burger form. Honestly, someone should find a way.
When you’re not cycling, what do you do for enjoyment – Spend time with my wife and 2 daughters.
Tip for young cyclists – Happy riders go faster. Do a training programme that makes you happy and ride with people who are legends
