RACING SINCE – I come from a national cross country running and SLSC background. I used to attend social rides (including mountain biking). I have been in competitive triathlon since 2017 and only started cycle racing in November 2018!

Biggest win to date – World Champion F20-24 Sprint Triathlete (September 2018); Union Grand Final.
What inspired you to ride -My Dad and Mum who used to compete in Triathlon. I owe my introduction to and love of the saddle to them!
What racing obstacle have you overcome – Ending 2018 with ankle ligament damage and starting 2019 with a bike crash leaving me in the emergency department – not necessarily a “racing obstacle”, but certainly obstacles that have greatly affected my training and racing. But, if you find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere!
What motivates you to keep going – My love of being outside, exploring new places and adventuring; all whilst exercising / training… I am addicted to the burn!
Favourite cheat meal – Hmm… honestly, honey is my weakness (… probably in excess amounts)!
Favourite healthy snack – Salmon and quinoa salad.
When you’re not cycling, what do you do for enjoyment – If I’m not cycling, swimming, running, at the gym, at uni or work – then you will likely find me at the beach… probably consuming coffee too!
Tip for young cyclists – Stick at it – through the highs and lows that come with every sport; and take opportunities as they come – you’ll only regret the chances you don’t take!
